Artist Statement

The Black Lives Matter movement inspired this meaningful piece of connection, balance, and harmony. My goal in using different complexions, meeting to create a united fist, is to send a message of power, as well as beauty. Only, with each hand supporting the other, can a strong and steadfast central presence be maintained.
