Performing ArtS
Bringing together Performers and the community.
To dialogue about justice + equity.
And To Have Fun.
We have assembled an exciting musical performance program for you that is stimulating, meaningful, educational and entertaining. Some of the sets will be traditional - others will be trendy and contemporary. Many of the performers are Native or persons of color, coming from our local community, representing the diversity of the Twin Cities, or coming from Up North. Our festival features a main stage on Friday and Saturday, on the parking lot a the intersection of York and Payne. On Thursday, our opening night, you'll be able to enjoy music in a more intimate setting, in front of Caydence Records & Coffee. The East Side Freedom Library will be featuring an impressive line-up as well, on all three nights, including a film on Saturday! Throughout the festival, some impromptu performances may take place at "street corners" as well.
