Ne-Dah-Ness Rose Greene

Artist Statement: I get inspired to photograph because  (1) I can learn about different culture, learning different methods, be able to see my vision through my lens up close and personal; (2)  many people have never seen wild rice that close up before, unprocessed out in the wild; and (3) I seek knowledge, open mindedness and truth.

Artist Bio:  Ne-Dah-Ness Rose Greene is an emerging BIPOC photographer from Leech Lake. She is self-taught and was mentored by the late Reginald Johnson.  She has also received support from numerous Indigenous entities and community members.  Photographing her community since 2016, Ne-Dah-Ness continually challenges herself to engage people in her creative process and to diversify her approach in the multi-faceted art form of photography.
