Artist Statement

My work is inspired by nature: gardens of lush floral plant life, aquatics, and majestic forests, mixed with the emotions of experiences. The artwork that results brings forth memories, joy of color, the incenses that lingered in the air, and the tranquility or excitement of an experience.

My goal is to share those experiences, to whisk away my audience to a place that once was or is longing to be. Somewhere in-between reality and current affairs.

Artist Bio

I studied Graphic Design at Brown College and graduated with a degree in Advertising Design. I worked as a Graphic Designer and Illustrator, while raising two beautiful daughters. I forfeited my career to devote time and resources to my children. Twenty years later, I returned to the arts. I am currently part of a vibrant art collective at ArT @ 967 Payne.

I have exhibited my work at ArT @ 967 Payne; the Discovery Center in Oakdale, MN; the Art Works in Eagan, MN; and the Bakken Museum in Minneapolis, MN. I also showcase my art at various local art festivals throughout the year.
