Artist Statement
The best part of the East Side is our diversity and richness in cultures. The painting of Swede Hollow includes a bit of local history. The Lantern Festival celebrates our Asian neighbors. It is my hope that the viewers will see how wonderful and valuable our diversity is.
Artist Bio
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember. Other than one community ed class and one art theory class, I am self taught. I love to paint what I see. The beauty of nature is my greatest inspiration. My love of culture and history is also a great influence.
