Help us build Common Ground.

Every October, five or six blocks of Payne Avenue transform into something rare: a free, open-air gallery and cultural celebration where thousands of neighbors and visitors encounter powerful art, live music, and poetry right on their own street — no ticket, no admission, no barrier. This year, under the theme Common Ground, we're asking what it means to take loving care of our one shared home, and to find common ground with one another. And we're adding a new Environmental Mini Fair, bringing hands-on stewardship and community resources right to the Avenue.

We build much of this with heart and hundreds of volunteer hours. But we take equal pride in one thing we will not cut corners on: fairly compensating the artists, musicians, and storytellers who bring this celebration to life. That's where you come in.

Your support does real, tangible good. A gift to Solidarity Street Gallery helps us:

  • Pay our performers — the musicians and spoken-word artists whose voices fill the Avenue

  • Support our visual artists with stipends that help offset materials, travel, and the true cost of making

  • Invest in emerging, local artists — paying them for meaningful festival work that builds their skills, their résumés, and their futures

  • Keep the whole festival free and open to all, in one of the Twin Cities' most diverse and too-often-overlooked neighborhoods

Every gift matters — truly, no amount is too small. And if you're able, we'd be honored to welcome you as an Official Sponsor at one of four levels:

  • Neighbor — $125

  • Booster — $250

  • Anchor — $500

  • Cornerstone — $1,000

We're grateful to build on a generous foundation of support, including a lead grant from the Rooted Philanthropic and a generous sponsorship from the East Side Funders Group. Every additional sponsorship and every donation, large or modest, extends how much we can do — and how well we can honor the artists and community at the heart of this festival.

Individuals, businesses, and neighborhood organizations are all warmly invited. Your gift is tax-deductible, and your name (or your business) can be part of something the whole East Side looks forward to all year.
